BacWater Scientific started with a simple annoyance: bacteriostatic water, one of the most boring supplies on a lab bench, kept being weirdly hard to buy.
Pharmacies often want a prescription for it. Marketplace listings rarely say what’s actually in the vial, how big it is, or what preservative strength it carries. Overseas suppliers are cheap until you’re three weeks into waiting for a package. And big medical distributors want an account before they’ll talk to you.
So we built a store that does exactly one thing. We keep 10 mL multi-dose vials of bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) in stock in the United States, describe them clearly, and ship them quickly. The more vials you order at once, the less each one costs.
What we care about
- Being in stock. A supply store that’s out of its one product isn’t much of a store.
- Clear details. Volume, preservative, closure, storage and handling are all on the product page, not buried in a PDF.
- Answering people. Email us and a person replies, usually within one business day.
Who we sell to
We supply bacteriostatic water for laboratory and research use to customers 18 and older in the United States. It is not sold for human or veterinary use. See our terms of sale for details.
